Vito's Ristorante & Pizzeria

When we arrived there was a note saying they accept cash only. No credit or debit cards, but there is an ATM located in the foyer entrance. The seating experience was a little rough, but we were acknowledged by the owner and we were seated within 15 mins of our arrival. The host only brought two of the three kids the crayons and paper, and we only were given two sets of silverware for a party of 5 so we had to ask our server for more silverware. The dining room atmosphere was warm and inviting. There is beautiful art on display paying homage to Italy and Vito's family and history. Our server was polite and kind and went at our pace. We enjoyed the Coletta Parmigiana Chicken with a side of fettuccine alfredo, Margarita Pizza, Meatballs, garlic rolls and the mixed spring mix and iceberg salad with creamy Italian. The kids enjoyed their cheese ravioli, penne with butter, garlic bread with cheese and meatballs. We also ended up getting some of our favorite desserts to go. The lemonchello mousse cake and the tiramisu. The meals are a great sized portion, so go hungry! There is a lovely wine menu and adult beverage selection, as well as a full bar when you walk in if you're looking for a drink and/or a quick bite; as well as an outdoor seating area on the patio. Overall, the restaurant was a hit and our family enjoyed our dinner and the friendliness of the staff and attention of the owner and their efforts to create a unique experience for their customers. I recommend bringing family and friends to this restaurant for great quality Italian food.

Vito’s is my favorite dining experience in Southern Pines. It has a great vibe - homey, slightly upscale, and with a certain kitsch that’s indescribable - but it’s the service that really shines. We’ve never had a bad customer service experience here in the numerous times that we’ve come. Oh, and the food is delicious. The polpette and carpaccio are especially good. We love the pizza, but really tend to stick with traditional dishes. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Cheers!

First visit to the Pinehurst area and this restaurant. It was EXCELLENT! 2 of us had personal pizzas, and it's clear why they are voted best pizza in the local magazine. My wife had Gnocchis and our other friend had a creamy chicken dish with peas, and both said it was really good. Vito visited each table to make sure everything was primo, a very personable man. If we make it back to this area, we will make it a point to come here one night for dinner! VERY good!!

First time visit to Vito's Ristorante and Pizzeria. Located in wonderful Southern Pines, NC, Vitos has a calm authentic atmosphere complete with music, art, layout, and a staff comfortable with the process. We had a very pleasant Tuesday night supper featuring Saltimbocca alla Romana with Brown Mushroom Sauce, choosing the veal and Prosciutto de Parma served with a side salad; was delightful. We then got 2 media (14") pizzas to purposely have lunch for the next day. Our dessert was a beautiful Lemoncello and seasonal fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup made for a perfect ending. Our meal was enjoyable, and the friendly staff were good in balancing attentiveness with distance. Looking forward to bringing friends and family again and would highly recommend.

Food is excellent! I get the fettuccini Alfredo and my husband gets the sausage and peppers. Also, Larry is a phenomenal waiter! Give that man a raise! I came in one evening and was so sad that they had just ran out of the terimisu and he brought out a sample of another dessert he thought I’d like. He rocks. Truly goes above and beyond to give you a great experience every time we come.
